I was going through some old scans this morning and found this image from back in the Providence, Rhode Island days. This photo was taken by Alex Aranovich while we were building the milkcrate arch inside America’s first mall, the Arcade.
Desparately seeking
Things have finally been updated. The MD store is up and selling, the site structure has been reworked, and I’m actually writing something. So, without further patting of one’s self on the back, I give you milkcrate news and notes.
I got an email from a person in Singapore. He is a lover of milkcrates and is seeking a crate that looks like the photo above. If you have knowledge of this crate he is interested in obtaining here. His description: “I am searching for a very specifc milk crate from the USA which can be seen in the photo. Oval openings on all faces, handle openings on two sides only. Milkcrate Digest #7
Ok, I actually got a new issue out. I took a while and I hope everyone feels that the time waiting was worth it. Issue# 8 will not take as long, I promise. With that said, show your love and buy issue 7. Thanks for the kind words, reader mail, nice emails, and motivation. Now, maybe if I can get this site done all will be well in the milkcrate universe. That was some time lapse, wow.
