Milkcrate Stacking? at camp
| I’ve stumbled across this young woman’s blog. I think she’s from Japan, and the photo above is from her recent camp trip. Apparently they do this activity, “milkcrate stacking”, and it’s some kind of sanctioned thing. They are wearing helmets, but this still seems like a pretty bad idea. I think she is Chinese Australian judging from her references. But not Japanese btw the “milkcrate stacking” activity looks like it has a safety rope attached to the person at the top of the crates I think its supposed to be a character,trust, or team building activity.

Yeah, it’s supposed to be a team building exercise, we did it for year 12 camp in Australia north of Brisbane. you do it in pairs and build a tower two across with both people at the top of the tower. you both had to balance on one milk crate tower while you add to the other milk crate tower then climb on that milk crate tower. it got pretty hairy and the record was 16 high but they had a full rope system like an indoor rock climbing place, so it was ok. that one is cheating haha they only have one guy at the top.
